Meet the Founder
Rene F. Sotolongo
I’m Rene Sotolongo, founder of CyberWise Technology. I bring over 13 years of experience providing managed IT services, systems administration, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity support for nonprofits, law firms, and SMBs.
Before transitioning into cybersecurity and systems administration, I worked as a paralegal for 12 years, where I routinely managed highly confidential legal, financial, and other sensitive client information. That background helped shape my strong focus on confidentiality, integrity, accessibility, and client trust.
Today, I specialize in helping organizations modernize, manage, and secure their technology environments through enterprise-grade technology solutions, endpoint management, cloud services, and security awareness and training, with a strong focus on improving operational efficiency while reducing unnecessary 3rd party technologies and overhead costs.
I hold a master’s degree in Cybersecurity, maintain CompTIA Security+ certification, and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity Management.
